Abstract


The purpose of this study is to trace the influence of parental care, parental education level, home study facilities and learning motivation to student achievement in the field of accounting expertise at SMK Negeri Padang City. The sampling technique used is proportional random sampling to obtain a sample of 144 students. The research instrument used in the form of a questionnaire or questionnaire. Data analysis in this research using Path Analysis. The result of the research shows that parents concern, education level, and learning facilities have a significant effect on students' motivation, parents' level of education has no significant effect on learning achievement, parental care, and home study facilities have a significant positive effect on learning achievement, on the achievement of Students in Accounting Expertise at SMK Negeri Kota Padang.
